Apple MightyMouse Wireless and Windows XP on a MacBook Air?

Please no jokes,the client needed that for running AutoCad…and did not wanted to buy VMWare Fusion or Parallels…

Apple says that the wireless model it’s only compatible with Mac OS X, while the wired model does work with Windows…

But there are reports of success…

Tarjeta AirPort Extreme para PowerMac G5 Early 2005

Un cliente llama para preguntarme sobre la antena necesaria para instalar una tarjeta AirPort Extreme modelo M8881LL/A en su PowerMac G5. Le digo que la tarjeta debe buscarla entre los accesorios que vinieron con su equipo, pero el dice no recordar ese accesorio, su máquina ya tiene más de tres años…visitando la tienda en línea de Apple, me encuentro con esto:

This AirPort Extreme Card is not compatible with the Mac Pro or the Power Mac G5 Dual and Power Mac G5 Quad computers introduced in October 2005. To add an AirPort Extreme card to one of these systems, please contact an Apple Retail Store or other Authorized Apple Service Provider.

La razón es que en los equipos “Late 2005″,los presentados en Octubre de ese año, sólo se puede utilizar una tarjeta AirPort Extreme con Bluetooth 2.0+EDR que no puede ser instalada por el usuario, quien debe acudir a un Proveedor de Servicio Autorizado de Apple para obtener la tarjeta y la instalación de la misma.

Afortunadamente, en su primer intento el cliente encontró la antena, además su G5 es una “Early 2005″, introducida en Abril del 2005, así que no hay problema.

I have been using Gabtastik for Facebook chat,but today I found that the text area where you type the messages is not being shown correctly.

If I choose another friend with a status that takes less space,you can see just the top of the text area, but not enough to see what you are typing.
